I just picked up the Dec 1996 issue of Metal Edge. There is an interview
with Pete in it. I'm not going to type the whole thing, cause it's just your
standard fare, 5 sisters, brought up Catholic, Pete is shy...etc... but
there is one Q&A which I thought I'd quote:

Q:" Are you aware of the America Online bulletin board for Type O?"

Lord P: "No, I do not have a computer. I just don't have the time. I don't
have that much of a use for one. I'm not one of those people who has the
time to sit there and chat with the other _geeks_ about this and that, I
have better things to do with my time. I'm not gonna sit on my ass and start
rumors."

Hmmmmmm. does he mean _WE_ are a bunch of geeks too? I was kind of offended
by this, especially because I consider this list to be perhaps a collection
of TON's most devoted fans. Later on at the end of the interview, Petes
message to the fans is (in part) "We hope to gain some new fans and pay some
bills through album sales"

Well it doesn't help to alienate your best fans. So he has better things to
do than sit on his ass and start rumors? Well, we can start the rumors for
him, as we do, however, if he'd change the policy of "ignore the fans" and
respond to some of our inquiries, maybe we could put some of those rumors to
rest with some concrete info!

I am steaming about this right now. Some of you are probably not bothered by
this at all, but I thought you all would like to know what Pete _REALLY_
thinks of us! :<
